German kurtshaar is a breed of hunting dog, bred in Germany for hunting game and marsh fowl. These are very energetic and hardy dogs that can chase prey for hours without getting tired. They have sharp eyesight and an excellent sense of smell, which allows them to easily find and pursue their prey.

German shorthairs have a long, slender figure and a taut physique. They have a long neck, an elongated head and hanging ears. Their color can be varied, but black or brown color is most often found. These dogs are distinguished by their loyalty and love for their owners, they are very sociable and easy to train.

The German Kurzhaar is an excellent hunting dog, which can become a faithful companion for lovers of active rest in nature.
